Chicken Casserole

We tried a new recipe last week. I'm in the process of baking and freezing some meals for after the little one arrives. I make two separate dishes, one for us (to make sure it tastes good) and a second to pop in the freezer.
I found this in a cookbook from my in-laws church. It turned out really good.
*I always follow Paleo in moderation. Some of the ingredients I understand are not perfect!

1 jar dried beef. *we think salami from the deli might work well next time
4 chicken breasts
8 bacon slices
1 can cream of mushroom soup (look for organic low-sodium)
1 oz. container sour cream
1/4 cup sliced almonds

Line the casserole dish with the dried beef. Wrap each chicken breast with two bacon slices. Sprinkle with almonds. Combine soup and sour cream and pour over chicken.
Bake at 250ยบ for 4 hours.

Sorry no pictures...we were hungry!

Maternity Photos

Here are more photos to share from our Birmingham weekend. These were shot by our good friend Colleen. I love the simplicity. The room and the light could not have been better. And I'm in my favorite color, black ;)
Here are just a few of my favorites. Thanks Bean. I love my photos!

This last one was shot by Adam. He grabbed his camera and they were both snapping away. I was a supermodel for a day :)

Party in the Ham

Last weekend we had our baby shower in Birmingham. Before the shower we headed out and braved the storm to snag some maternity photos by Porfirio. He is a great friend of my family and a wonderful photographer. Despite the intense humidity we got some GREAT shots!Shaina, Ben and Suzanne threw us a great shower. It has been almost two years since all 8 Magnolia Arms Girls have been together. It was so great to see them all. We squeezed in Mama G's and Big Blue Bagel and lots of catching up.
